What Is Recovery Like From a Breast Augmentation?
During your first few days after breast augmentation recovery, it is best to have someone stay with you and assist you. You will experience swelling, and after surgery, you will have a compression bandage around your chest to support and protect your breasts. This bandage limits post-surgical swelling.
Within a week or two, most women return to light, normal daily activities and sedentary work, but be sure not to lift anything over five pounds and avoid lifting your arms above your shoulders. Avoid all vigorous exercise or physical activities until you are cleared for this by Dr. Anthony. You should be fully healed in 4-6 weeks.
