THE CONSULTATION
The initial consultation is an opportunity to meet with Doctor Anthony so that you can get to know one another and discuss the areas of your appearance which you would like improved. When you call to schedule your consultation, our office will send you an information packet telling you about Dr. Anthony, our office and the plastic surgical procedure you may be interested in. It is suggested that you read these materials first so that you will be aware of the available options prior to your consultation. This packet also includes a questionnaire about your medical history.
|
Your consultation will also include an examination after which Dr. Anthony will share with you which procedure he recommends, why he recommends it and what your other options are. He will thoroughly review the planned procedure, what to expect as you recover and your anticipated results. |
After meeting with the Doctor, you will meet with Dr. Anthony's Patient Care Coordinator. At this time, you will be given an opportunity to view pre-and-post-operative photographs of patients who have undergone similar procedures, and who have given us their permission to show their pictures. This meeting is also your chance to ask any additional questions you may have. Dr. Anthony's Patient Care Coordinator will discuss the timing of your surgery, finances, and assist you in making any necessary arrangements before or after surgery that you may require, including hotel and nursing arrangements for our patients living elsewhere in the U.S. or abroad.
Please expect the consultation to last 1-1 1/2 hours. Of course, if you require more time, it will gladly be made available. Please contact our office for any additional scheduling information.
